Visionaries is a ground breaking show which takes the great and the good, dead and alive, and pitches them against each other in an unprecedented appraisal of some of the world’s greatest human minds. Each film features two visionaries and supporting advocates. Through debate on who was more innovative, this programme is a unique insight into their lives and legacies.

Visionaries is a fully integrated, multi-platform concept available to viewers at all of the BBC World touch-points. The supporting microsite provides a platform for viewers to interact with the series & nominate the most ‘visionary’, while vignettes which offer momentum and recap.
