Matt Frei is one of the BBC’s most highly experienced and respected correspondents. He reported on major events from around the globe, and for the past five years has been the BBC’s leading correspondent in the United States.
Matt will anchor the BBC World News America programme from the BBC’s Washington DC bureau.

The programme will include special packages from the BBC’s expert correspondents will go beyond the headlines to provide context and analysis on the international events that shape the increasingly complex world. Plus from the DC studio, Matt will interview newsmakers of the day and lead roundtable discussions featuring expert opinion from commentators and major players.
