extratime: Olympic Greats
extratime interviews some of the biggest names in world sport.
In the run up to the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, extratime will interview some of the biggest names in Olympic history, past and present in a week of special programmes.
This special 4 part series will include interviews with:
- 1968 long jump champion, Bob Beamon. Beamon's long jump set a new world record at 8.9 metres and remains the Olympic record and the second longest jump of all time.
- The Chairman of the World Anti-Doping Agency, John Fahey.
